What's being sold at the Public Market these days? I haven't been back in a while, and need thoughts of produce for re-motivation.

Hey Tiff …sorry i missed this earlier. For some reason, Jaiku cannot text me, like Twitter can. Anyway, the Market has almost everything the supermarket gets from warmer climes, such as red bell peppers, oranges, strawberries, plus vegetables from within a day's drive, such as broccoli, rappini, asparagus, plus local produce, such as golden potatoes, onions, fancy cabbage, and Fuji apples from controlled atmosphere. For motivation, however, read Halweil's Eat Here.
Under local, i forgot root vegetables such as carrots, daikon, turnips and also turnip greens, and squash of many kinds. My favorite is red cup. I also couldn't remember if you were strictly vegetarian, or vegetarian + fish. Vendors there also have cage-free eggs and fish galore. Recently, Luke from Ant Hill started baking and selling artisan breads, and i've helped bake four nights and sell three days so far.
Good, I've been cooking mostly with roots anyway. I do eat seafood on occasion. Bravo about the bakery--there's definitely a place for more fresh bread in our neighborhoods.
